https://www.fvap.gov/iowa Use this site to complete and print your Federal Postcard Application (FPCA), which will both register you to vote and request your ballot. Your request must be renewed each calendar year in which you intend to vote, and is good for all elections in that year. We are now accepting requests for calendar year 2017.
Requests may be emailed, but a facsimile of your physical signature is required, so you will likely need to print and scan the form.
ONLY 1) active military voters or 2) voters in Imminent Danger Pay Areas may return a ballot by email. All other voters must print and mail their ballots.
