https://www.fvap.gov/iowa Use this site to complete and print your Federal Postcard Application (FPCA), which will both register you to vote and request your ballot. Your request must be renewed each calendar year in which you intend to vote, and is good for all elections in that year. We are now accepting requests for calendar year 2019.
Requests may be emailed. All overseas voters may choose to have their voting materials delivered either by email or by physical mail. ONLY 1) active military voters or 2) voters in Imminent Danger Pay Areas may return a ballot by email. All other voters must mail their ballots (voters choosing email delivery will need to print their materials).

The next regularly scheduled election for most voters is the November 5, 2019 combined election for city and school offices. (State law changed in 2017 and there is no longer a separate election for school board in September of odd years.)
Voters whose US address is in the city limits of North Liberty may vote in a March 12, 2019 special election for city council.
